Pioneer Energy now active as a Registrant in the New Zealand energy certificate market

Pioneer Energy, and its Southern Generation Limited Partnership, supplies renewable electricity from hydro and wind generation stations, with the majority located in the South Island.

Pioneer Energy also produces renewable energy from landfill gas and is a supplier of wood chip fuel.

Pioneer has recently registered production devices on the NZECS, both hydro and wind, that comprise its Teviot hydro scheme. Pioneer has sold NZ-ECs generated by these devices and has additional capacity for sale.
